About Me

My name is Anja Gallimore.

I am a passionate indie dyer obsessed with high quality yarns. I dabble in breed specific yarns, such as  BFL, Polwarth,extrafine  Merino, Ultrafine Mohair/silk, Yak/silk, Baby Alpaca/linen/silk etc... Creating the different colourways of yarn really brings me so much joy! I am inspired by pop culture, art, nature and my vivid lucid dreams when pondering Shady Lady's shades.

I live and work out of a tiny cabin on the banks of the Montreal River in a small town in northern Ontario, Canada called Matachewan. I spend my days dyeing yarn and building the brand (all that that entails).

I am an avid angler and paddle my kayak out every evening knitting and fishing until the sun sets weather permitting.  Yes it's a pretty sweet life, to be doing my favorite things everyday. Winters are spent dyeing, knitting and dreaming of summer...
