For many knitters fingering weight yarns are a staple in their stash, What would sock knitters do without it? It is perfect for shawls and  sweaters, because the fabric it creates is thin and free moving making for a more flattering finished object. I can't say enough about fingering wieght yarn after all it is my personal favorite.......
